About Us

Established in November 2021, Brickollector is very grateful to be able to take care of retired LEGO needs of kiwis. We've garnered hundreds of positive reviews on Google and Facebook so feel free to check out our little LEGO community!

Here at Brickollector we have a very simple mission - bringing happiness to LEGO fans by LEGO fans. We know how hard it is to find certain LEGO items that are no longer in production so it is our aim to make this whole process a pleasant experience for you. Brickollector specialises only in brand new, retired/discontinued LEGO products that are no longer available from official LEGO retailers. We are a 100% New Zealand owned company operated by myself (Sean) and my wife (Jumi) who live and breathe everything LEGO. We are very fortunate to live and operate our passion business on the beautiful North Shore of Auckland.

M-Tron Mega Core Magnetizer 6989

As a child, I was obsessed with LEGO Space (especially M-Tron) and City themes before accidentally rediscovering my love for LEGO as an adult through my daughter. She was gifted Cinderella's Dream Castle 41154 at the age of 3 so naturally I had to help her build it! Little did I know one LEGO building session was all it took to send me down this never-ending hole of LEGO collecting. I couldn't believe the immense happiness and satisfaction LEGO brought to our little family. I soon found out how hard and expensive it was to source LEGO sets that are no longer in production (retired). Before I knew it, I had amassed thousands of retired LEGO sets in my own home.

Pictured is my favourite childhood M-Tron Mega Core Magnetizer from 1990. It is proudly displayed among all my other LEGO treasures and will eventually be an heirloom.

Our goal is to give people a second chance to obtain LEGO sets they've missed out on over the years due to whatever reason. We have invested heavily into LEGO sets that we deem collectible while they are still in production in hope of being able to continue to supply the market for as long as possible upon retirement and at the most competitive prices in New Zealand. We also scour the globe and local suppliers to bring rare and retired LEGO sets to NZ while trying our best to keep prices as low as possible. In some ways we operate as a service provider where we take on all the risks associated with overseas LEGO procurement so you can purchase these hard-to-find LEGO products with peace of mind. We are a GST-registered company and happily pay our share of taxes to help our economy.

In order to become the destination online store with the largest range of retired/discontinued LEGO items we will be focusing on LEGO items that you can't easily buy from your favourite official LEGO retailers. We hope by doing so, everyone with an interest in the LEGO world wins, be it consumer or suppliers. It is also in your best interest to support great retailers such as Toyco, Brickstore or your local toy stores for LEGO that is still available in current catalogues.

We also pledge to only use environmentally friendly packaging materials as an effort to reduce our carbon footprint. All of our packaging materials are either made of recycled materials or can be recycled. Even the courier labels we use are BPA free and compostable! Our shipping cardboard boxes are also double-cushioned so can withstand more shipping abuse than your regular cardboard boxes.

We hope you'll enjoy shopping at Brickollector and appreciate any feedback you share with us.
